When it turns cold, mice look for a way in. Stuff copper mesh into the gaps around pipes, vents and wires, and close the gap under the door.
A mouse can squeeze through a gap about the width of a pencil.
- 2 rolls of copper mesh. Stuff it into gaps with a screwdriver.
- Doesn't rust. Copper holds up in damp crawl spaces.
- Under-door seal. Closes the gap at the bottom of the door.
- 30-day money-back. You don't send it back.
Ships to the lower 48 states and Washington, D.C. Most orders arrive in 7–15 business days. We email you the tracking number when it ships.

30-day money-back. Nothing to send back.
Email us within 30 days of the day your kit arrives. We refund you within 7 business days, and you keep it. If it arrived damaged, we'll just ask for a photo.
Buying a gift? Orders placed from November 1 to December 24 can be refunded until January 31, so there's time to open it first. You still don't need to send it back. If your 30 days end later than that, you get the later date.
What's in the box
-
2 Rolls of copper mesh
About 5 inches wide and 10 feet long each. Cut it with old scissors and stuff it into gaps.
-
1 Under-door seal
Gray, about 36 inches long. Two foam tubes that slide under the door, one on each side. Cut to fit your door.
Good to know
- Walk your walls first. Look where pipes, wires and vents come into the house: under the sinks, behind the stove and the washer, around the dryer vent, along the foundation.
- Stuff the mesh in tight with a screwdriver, so it fills the whole gap. For a neat finish, seal over it with caulk.
- Wear gloves. The cut ends of the mesh are sharp.
- If mice are already inside, set traps first, then seal. Don't close a mouse in.
- This closes gaps. It's not a guarantee. Mice are clever, and a bigger hole needs hardware cloth or a pro.
The plain facts
- Made in China, shipped to you from overseas. Most orders arrive in 7–15 business days.

The why
Why copper mesh
Mice chew through foam, cardboard and plastic. Stuffed tight into a gap, metal mesh is hard for them to pull out or chew through, and copper doesn't rust in a damp crawl space the way steel wool does. The door seal closes the other easy way in, the gap at the bottom of the door.
Before they move in
Three habits that make your house less inviting to mice.
-
"Keep the bird seed, the pet food and the grass seed in metal cans with tight lids."
-
"Stack the firewood away from the house, and off the ground."
-
"Check the gaps again in late fall. That's when mice start looking for a warm place."

Questions about the kit
Can't find yours? Write to help@firstfrosthome.com. We reply within 6 hours, Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm Eastern.
What's in the kit?
Two rolls of copper mesh, about 5 inches wide, and one slide-on under-door seal.
How do I use the mesh?
Cut a piece a bit bigger than the gap, roll it up and push it in tight with a screwdriver. For a neat finish, seal over it with caulk.
Will this keep every mouse out?
No kit can promise that. It closes the small gaps that mice use most. If you already have mice inside, set traps first, and for bigger holes use hardware cloth or call a pro.
Will everything arrive together?
Maybe not. The items can ship in separate packages and arrive a few days apart. We email you the tracking for each one.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders arrive in 7–15 business days. We email you the tracking number when it ships.
What if it's not right for me?
Write to help@firstfrosthome.com within 30 days of the day it arrives, and we'll refund what you paid within 7 business days. You don't send it back.
